What a wonderful week we had at St. John the Evangelist! It started with our opening School Mass. Fr. Jim and Deacon Tony did an inspiring job of motivating our students to be missionaries of Hope. This led to the revealing of our new Patron Saint for the Year, St. Jude Thaddeus. With the late Pope Francis calling 2025 a year of Hope, we wanted to remember him by choosing a Saint that reflected that virtue. Throughout the year, the children will be learning different facts about St. Jude.
That very same evening, we had our Curriculum night for the parents. Thank you to all the parents who shared wonderful stories of their children coming home excited about school. We all pray that this continues. The children will once again attend Adoration in the church each week. The children really seem to enjoy that one one-on-one time with the Lord.
Finally, our Related Art teachers have adjusted their schedules so that students from Pre-K 4 through 6th grade will receive classes in the Related Arts. It was a big undertaking, but we are pleased with how enthusiastic the children have been about going to a “Special”!
Registration is still ongoing if you wish to tour our wonderful school and enroll your child. Call the school office at 723-0703. You won’t regret it! Have a blessed week!
