This year, for our annual Christmas Sharing, we will once again be accepting gift card donations for Catholic Charities’ Teens, gifts for infants at Lourdes Women’s Health Center and gas cards for our seminarians studying for our diocese.
Catholic Charities is looking for gift cards from Walmart, Target and Burlington Coat Factory. Cards in $5 increments work best. They hope to hand out $25 = $40 worth to each teen in need.
Lourdes Women’s Health Center asks only for 0 to 12 month baby clothing, gas gift cards and assorted grocery gift cards (Walmart, Price Chopper, Weis).
Gas cards for our diocesan seminarians will be sent to them during Christmas week.
If you are able to attend Eucharist daily or on weekends, the cards, cash or gifts can be left at the tree at the St. Joseph’s altar. If the only Mass you may be attending is at Christmas, you can leave the gas cards then. The gifts for Catholic Charities and the Lourdes Women’s Health Center should be “under the tree” by the 14th of December. If you have any questions, please call the parish office at 722-0493.
