The weekend we enter into a period of Ordinary Time in our Liturgical Year. Ordinary time invites us to find God in the ordinariness of our lives. While everyone loves celebrations, most of our lives are lived in the ordinary events of life. Our God is a God of the ordinary. He is found in the regular routine of our days. He is there in our relationships and in the stillness that is present in every day. We are called during this short period of Ordinary Time to seek our God in the ordinary events of our lives and to allow His love to take root in our hearts and in our lives.
