This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. We recall how our Lord Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. During This Baptism, the Father revealed Jesus to be His Beloved Son.

We are all called to remember our personal Baptism on this day. We are called to remember that we were given a new identity on the day of our baptism. We were given the identity as a child of God. We are also called to remember that we also became members of the Family of God on our baptismal day. When we think of baptism, we think of the removal of original sin, but so much more happened on this day. Let us take some time this week to reflect upon our personal baptism and all that God was able to accomplish on that day.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
