This weekend’s Readings from Sacred Scripture speak to us about serving God or money. Too many times we spend all our lives trying to save up enough money so that we can retire in comfort. Jesus tells us that we are called to spend our energy, not on the things of this world, but working for the Kingdom of Heaven. We are called to invest our time and efforts into our personal relationship with our Lord Jesus.

This involves daily prayer and time spent with our Lord. Let us take some time this week to work on our relationship with the Lord Jesus. Let us spend time daily with our Lord Jesus, allowing His love to be an important part of our lives.

I would like to thank everyone who took some time to prayerfully consider making a gift to this year’s Hope Appeal. The good work that is done by the Hope Appeal is possible only because of the generosity of the members of our Diocesan Family.

Again, I invite all members of our parish family to prayerfully consider making a generous gift to this year’s Diocesan Hope Appeal.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
