This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Exultation of the Cross. This feast reminds us that God used the instrument of torture and Capital Punishment to bring about the salvation of the world. We are also reminded that Jesus tells His disciples that if we want to be His followers, we have to take up our daily crosses, whatever they may be. Let us ask the Lord to help us embrace our daily crosses in life!

This weekend is Hope Appeal Weekend in the Diocese of Syracuse. This annual appeal helps all of us to do as a diocese, what we as a parish are unable to do alone.

We will show the Hope Appeal Video at all weekend Masses and it is my hope that all members of our parish family will PRAYERFULLY consider making a gift to this year’s Hope Appeal Campaign. There is so much good that is accomplished through the Hope Appeal ministries. Much money is returned to our area through Hospital Ministries, Catholic School Tuition Assistance, Faith Formation, Young Adult Ministry, Newman House Ministries and Catholic Charities. Please be generous in supporting this year’s Hope Appeal.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
