Our First Reading and Gospel this weekend speak to us about God’s plan for salvation. We are told that God wants peoples from all nations to come to seek this gift that God offers us. Simply put, salvation is a gift that is meant for all humanity, not just a few select people. We all are called to be a people who work at spreading the Good News of salvation and building God’s Kingdom in our midst. We are called to be a loving community that reaches out and becomes God’s presence in the world.

Let us take some time this week to reflect upon this great call that we have received from our God.

It is hard to believe that we will be starting our Faith Formation Program in a month. It is important for all families to make Faith Formation an important part of your family’s life. Weekly attendance at Faith Formation Classes and Weekly Mass attendance are the best way for us to build that solid foundation for your child’s life.

Make your plans now by registering your young person for these important classes and make Sunday mornings an important part of your family’s faith life. I know that you will be glad that you did.
