This Sunday we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. During the Octave of Easter we are reminded that God’s mercy endures forever. We are all called to trust in God’s mercy and to be bearers of God’s mercy to a
very needy world. By His death and resurrection, Jesus shows us the depth of God’s love for each of us. We are given this gift of love, not because we deserve it, but because God is generous and merciful. He invites us to trust in this gift and to share it with others. In the midst of a sometimes cold and cruel world, we are called tobring God’s mercy to those who we meet.
It is hard to believe that Deacon Cornelius Deep is going to be ordained a priest in a little more than a
month on May 30. Our parish has secured a bus to transport anyone interested in attending the ordination at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse. If you are interested in going to the ordination on the bus, please call the Saint Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament parish office at 607-722-3988 to reserve a spot.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
