GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION: The collection for the Holy Land is taken up at the request of the pope on Good Friday.  It provides financial support for Christians living in the Holy Land and for the maintenance of sacred sites.  It also supports pastoral, charitable, education and social works ensuring the survival and vitality of Christian communities in the region.
