Our Readings from Sacred Scripture challenge us this weekend to examine the decisions we make in our lives. Jeremiah tells us in the First Reading, “Cursed is the one who trusts in human beings, who seeks his strength in flesh”

Too many times we get caught up in our daily lives. We think about the passing fad or interest in the world and forget to think about our relationship with God. We are told that those who trust in the Lord are never forsaken. Let us take some time this week and reflect upon where we put our faith and trust. Let us renew our commitment to deepening our relationship with the Lord Jesus and put our trust in the power of His love in our lives.
