After an unfortunate delay, St. John’s School finally had their opening of the school year mass. It was a wonderful celebration of faith by the students, faculty and staff. So what is a 2nd grade prayer warrior? As a way to help the 2nd graders realize the need and impact prayer can have on others, the 2nd grade has a prayer box in the front hall of the school. The students, teachers and staff place their prayer requests in the box. Each day a 2nd grader collects the requests and the class prays for those intentions. Parents of the school come in and place requests in the box as well. The 2nd grade also invites you, the parishioners of Saints John and Andrew to submit prayer requests. If you can’t get into the school, you can call the school office at 607-723-0703 and ask the secretary to put your request in the box. Let our children be source of prayer for you. Have a good week!
